The playground of Presidents ... the workplace for Jack's daughters, and some of our grandsons. Thus we get to visit this classic vacation land where the rich and famous relax. And, thanks to our family's hospitality, so do we. Visit was in late April 2010.(Photos by Jack and Mary Dodge)

Most people get to Martha's Vineyard by ferry.

The waterfront at Vineyard Haven

We were treated to a tour with Lesli's friend Fred, a beekeeper

The rocky shores of the Vineyard

We finally got a chance to see Chappaquiddick, site of the infamous bridge.

We just wanted to see the island, being big fans of islands in general.

There we discovered Mytoi, Japanese gardens now open to the public. (Jack with daughter Lesli)

It was unattended the day we were there, but the azaleas were in full bloom.

The vistas were beautiful and calming, until the rains came.

Then it was time to take the ferry back to Edgartown.
