
MARY'S FLASHY FRESH FRUIT FONDUE
Mixed fresh fruits, cut in large-ish bite-size pieces
Angel food, sponge, pound or other cake, cut in bite-size pieces (optional)
1 Cool whip, regular size. OK to use fat-free
1 lemon-flavored non-fat yogurt, 8 oz. (vanilla, OK)
1/2 to 1 tsp. cinnamon
Nuts, raisins, coconut, shaved chocolate for dipping (optional)
If you cut up fruit ahead of time, store in plastic bags and use lemon for
fruits that turn brown. Don't cut up bananas until ready to serve. OK to cut
cake and store so won't dry out.
Mix thawed Cool Whip, yogurt and cinnamon gently but thoroughly. Can be done
ahead of time, but not too early. Store covered.
Serve as fancy as you want. I use fondue forks, since I have about four dozen of
them.
